There are more than two sides of a story.

My thoughts:

1. Put more than a thousand people in one place + sponsors/vendors = TRASH. I don't have to be in a running event to expect that. I'm sure when the EDSA revolution was held (several times) there was the same predicament.
2. Not all of them are "nature lovers" they would've planted a tree instead or cleaned up a portion of the city. Don't we have marathons almost every single week and for every time there is a monetary humanitarian reason to do so. It's like the new "bar" to be seen. 
3. Why the running fad became so popularly expensive I do not know. The roads have been there ever since. No need for some fancy shirt even.
4. Hydration is important. Paper cups might be more practical. I hope they just placed trash bins strategically. Water bottles? Nah. I'm sure it'll be uncomfortable running with a jug. Doesn't look good on the photovendo too. People stopping for a refill would only consume more minutes in their stats. 
5. Douse runners with a water pump? Sounds fun AND sexy. Haha! But wouldn't that cause water spoilage and slippery roads won't be safe. 
6. Smoky mountain and Payatas for venues? I don't think that'll be sanitary or safe. 
7. So you really wanna be an Earth hero by running? Do that daily on your way to school or work.

Noong una hindi naman kita mapapansin dahil sadyang pretty boy ka lang. Yung tipong hambait bait mong tingnan pag nagsmile, parang ganito:

In yet another pointless conversation with JM:


"Happy naman ako dahil meron na rin akong Starbuckzzz tumbler which is in fantabulously colorific furfle.

Pero may isa akong problema: Hirap na hirap akong uminom sa kanya na hindi ako matatapunan! Seriously! Ang effort talaga ng finess na kailangan kong ipunin para lang makainum nang maayus."


JM, happens to have this wide array of collection of mugs and tumblers from Starbucks, which were either he bought, gifts, or nenok. Yes, nenok, isa lang naman pero nenok nonetheless. At proud pa siya. Since then, plain white na lang ang mugs sa SB Eastwood and everywhere else. LOL


Minsang nakita ko collection niya. Magkakaiba ang spout. At sa lahat, ito ang naging most comfortable para sa akin:

"Ganito lang naman kasi yan... *dinedemo ang pag inum* simple lang naman bakit hindi mo magawa?"

Seth: "Look at this!? Mukha siyang gilid ng baso but it's not! Ang layu nung mismong butas to where I place my lip. Ang tendency tuloy I wrap my lips on the whole thing kaya tuloy parang sinubo ko na 25% nung takip para lang hindi na siya tatapon? Isa pa, double barrel siya, in as much as naappreciate ko yung control ng condensation at di ako mapapaso etc, hindi ko maramdaman yung flow ng fluid kaya di ko matantiya? Kailangan ko pang i-tilt nang mataas tuloy, thus, more tapon. Di ba spill proof nga dapat!

Pero ito, ito! Mas ok ito sa akin palagay ko. Simple lang ang spout niya at kahit hindi ako nakatingin o nag iingat sigurado ako walang tatapon dahil nasa loob na siya ng bibig ko. Gets mo?
